The Greatest Commandment is to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” and “to love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39).

Project Bayview exists to help people coming out of difficult situations change the course of their lives by providing a loving and supportive community around them.

Our program is founded upon the Bible’s claim that the Gospel is the power of God to save and heal us (Romans 1:16). The Gospel is the story and application of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Our desire is to impart to you the love and hope that Christ offers through His Gospel and His sufferings, ushering you into His presence and restoration (Acts. 3:18-20).

Our mission is to develop leaders who live to revive their communities.

The Great Commission is Jesus’ final words to His disciples while on earth: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20).

We expect all who enter Project Bayview to carry forward everything they’ve been taught to those in their communities. Individuals who recognize the need for this hope and support in their lives and choose to come to the Project Bayview community are referred to as disciples or mentees. A disciple is a personal follower of Jesus who seeks to live life in the manner Jesus did.

Matthew 16:34 (ESV) – Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me."

Disciples are required to fully participate in our 12-month residential program. The program consists of a highly structured daily routine of Bible-based homework and study, community service, job training, spiritual disciplines, counseling through addiction and recovery, accountability, and support. Each woman entering our house is committing to submit to the Bible, as well as to being held accountable by leaders and other participants. During the program, all women are assigned a live-in mentor. As a participant responds to and embraces the grace of God and the healing He offers, she will progress through the program, assuming increased responsibility within the community and becoming a disciple maker.
